Invention is a technical solution, which must meet three requirements: it must be novel, involve an inventive step and must be capable of industrial application. The most of the new ideas usually meet the third requirement, and it’s quite easy to evaluate it. However for evaluation of the first two requirements it is necessary to perform full scale technical level analysis. According to the Patent law of the Republic of Lithuania, the experts of the State Patent Bureau do not perform this analysis. Therefore the risk that the issued patent will be weak and easily cancelled is great. We help the inventors to perform search of patents in worldwide patent databases and to evaluate if the invention is patentable so the inventors could avoid registration of week patents.
