On July 02, 2009 The Appeals division of Lithuanian State Patent Bureau satisfied opposition No. 2338 of the interested person Arthur Murray International, Inc. regarding cancelation of the figurative trademark registration (Reg. No. 57792) owned by Public Enterprise Dance sport club „JUVENTOS“.

The trademark of the interested person and the opposed trademark are figurative and compounded of the drawing of the dancing couple (man and woman) figures. The composition and geometrical shapes of the comparable marks are very similar. Trademarks are uncoloured, drawn of black lines. Due to these reasons common visual impression is very similar. Therefore, The Appeals division stated that the opposed trademark (Reg. No. 57792) is confusingly similar to the figurative trademarks (TM.No. 003439247, 00355991) of the interested person.
